In recent sporting events, the national women's swimming competition for government employees took place on Thursday, July 14, in the city of Mashhad. Dr. Zahra Mirakhori, a renowned champion from Tehran province and a faculty member at Amirkabir University of Technology, achieved an impressive third place in this competition.
Furthermore, the final training camp for the national men's student volleyball team was conducted in two stages during July 1402, with Amirkabir University serving as the host. Iran's national student volleyball team is placed in the second group of the Universiade, alongside teams from Australia, the Czech Republic, Argentina, and India.
Looking ahead, the 31st Summer Universiade for World Students is scheduled to take place in Chengdu, China, from August 6 to 17. This prestigious event will bring together talented athletes from around the globe to compete in various sports disciplines.
