We are delighted to announce that the book titled "Engineered Polymeric Fibrous Materials" has been published by the prestigious international publisher "Elsevier". This book is the result of the collaboration of Dr. Majid Montazer, Dr. Roohollah Bagherzadeh, Dr. Ali-Akbar Gharehaghaji, Dr. Ali-Akbar Merati, Dr. Dariush Semnani, Dr. Somayeh Akbari, Dr. Mohammad-Ali Tavanaie, Dr. Sayed-Abolfazl Mirdehghan and 14 other researchers from the Textile Engineering Department and the Excellence Center of the Amirkabir University of Technology and has been edited by Dr. Masoud Latifi, Professor at the Amirkabir University of Technology’s Department of Textile Engineering.
The book describes the most advanced research and industrial engineered methods of nano/micro fibrous materials and structures from physical, mechanical and chemical points of view. By applying the desired properties in fibrous materials and structures, they can be used for strengthening cement and polymer composites, drug delivery and tissue engineering, energy harvesting and storage, smart textiles, electrical conductivity, biocompatibility and biodegradability, fragrance and protective materials and electrochemical process. This book, which consists of fourteen chapters, is valuable and useful for researchers, graduate students as well as the industry.
The office of International Affairs, congratulates all the colleagues of this group on the publication of this book and applauds their effort and dedication in achieving this international scientific success.
