Advanced Spectroscopy Laboratory is one of the laboratories in unit 1 named “Material Identification and Elemental Analysis” containing emission spectroscopy, quantumetery, atomic absorption, and ICP equipment; which will help make AUT students and researchers needles of referring to laboratories outside of the university for elemental analysis and material identification.

Dormitory Repair and Reconstruction

The project of repairing and reconstructing the dormitory of Martyr Abdolhosseyn Najjarian at the Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT) was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Seddighi (Head of the Student Affairs Organization), Dr. Motiee (Head of the Student Welfare Fund of the Ministry of Science), Dr. Motamedi (Chancellor of the Amirkabir University of Technology) and a group of university benefactors. About 200 female graduate students of AUT live in this dormitory complex, which will increase by 30% upon full reconstruction and repair.

Amirkabir University of Technology and the Central Iranian Oil Company signed a research contract to survey the causes and geochemical origin of the increase in hydrogen sulfide in gas reservoirs in southern Iran and provide executive solutions to reduce it. This contract was signed for two years and is to be implemented in the department of Petroleum Engineering of Amirkabir University of Technology.
